Ellen DeGeneres

After all this time watching the Ellen show I'm just now finding out that she was gay when we talked about it in class. I never really payed attention to her in that way. I like her show and how she conducts it and how popular her show is I do not think people judge her on being gay especially her guests because she has alot of celebrities that comes on her shows and they do not tend to have a problem with what her sexual beliefs are. I do not think many people judge women on being gay as people do men. For example I think if a gay male was a tv host most straight men will not attend that show because they will feel that their manhood would be in danger. Even though people should be treated with equal rights if they are gay or straight I just think people take men being gay more serious than women being gay. I know I use to be that way but as I got older I learned that you have to respect people for who they are. Soon I found out about Ellen being gay I still look her as the same person I seen her before which is a intelligent women that runs a great talk show that many people throughout the word loves.
